• Idea

   Giving it is an inseparable attribut of love. It starts when we pay attention to other people, when we are ready to share with "our possessions" no matter what kind of material goods, we own. This possession we understand as acts of human kindness, thoughts, emotions and something what nowadays seems to be extremely precious: time. These days devoting time for other person makes a great gift.

  Giving it is an art. Giving is beautiful when one acts on impuls, without judgement situation, without calculation, when it is straight from the heart. Giving can be beautiful, if it brings joy both to donor and to person who receives donation. Giving is a testimony of love, it demonstrates love and it allows love to flow.

• Realization of the ideas

  We learn to give ourselves through the participation in all kinds of Foundation's activity, but especially we learn it through the program that expands and popularizes the idea of voluntary work. The voluntary work is not so popular in Poland, as it is in other western european countries. Social work is not treated with respect mostly due to the communist period in polish history, whereas in other coutries the voluntary work is an experience which is worth being proud of. Our country has lot of to make up for in this field.

  The Foundation involves volunteers for the realization of most of its projects. We co-operate with various organizations and centers which come to those in need by reason of ill-health, disability assistance or which help people who are rejected by society for different reasons. We direct our volunteers to them and those people receiving charity are invited to participate in our projects according to the idea of the integration of various social communities. But the seeds of volunteerism have just been planted and we we would like to develop both the range and the quality of volunteering opportunities.

We plan to establish a Volunteer Center and the international mutual assistance. In the Center our volunteers would be trained by professionals from Poland and foreign coutries. We would like them to improve their skills and offer their help to people in foreign countries, for example in Poland's eastern neighbours or in the Third World Coutries.
