• Idea

   God placed the man on the world filled with beauty and harmony. He caused that every single day surprises us with its wonderful nature and the mystery of life that we are not able to discover or to understand it. It is hard to force someone to feel gratitude, but the respect and care of God's creation is our duty.

  We intend to kindle the fire of love to the world that surrounds us and to acknowledge it as a measure of beauty and harmony, as the subject to be compared with everything what we have courage to create.

  We wish to know how to create, choose and consciously use beauty. We wish to cure the places where we live, we wish to get rid of ugly things, mess and disharmony. We wish that our clothing or places of living become "in the likeness" of the work of God.

• Realization of the ideas

  The aesthetics is an important element of each form of activity of The Drachma Foundation. It is from the Foundation's website to The Creative Activities and Animation Center a subject for separate projects. In order to teach beauty, we want to obtain two sources: the Nature, as a basic source and an art, as the effect of the research and human experience gathered in the field of art. We worked out the project for artistic workshop which will be animated and authorized by experienced artists. Depending on resources at our command we would like to invite artists, writers or actors for cooperation and for temporary staying at our Center during realization of the workshop projects which will be open to all in our city in the public places. The main idea of such activity is that the creating workshop would be available for Foundation members, people under Foundation's care and accidental inhabitants of our city or the region. As a result of the series of this kind of workshops we intent to achieve such an effect that our Creative Activities and Animation Center could become "one big workshop", where young peole will get the opportunity to to realize their ideas or inspirations. We expect that in the future the project participants will find an occupation in other educational and cultural centers in our region, by being helpful in enriching their service and methods of work.
