• Idea

  To maintain love. In love one can find energy, which if it's shared with somebody, in the nature of things runs out. The fire of love, with all its manitestations and like all kinds of fire, needs a spark so it could burn. Lasting, powerfull love which shows us its richness, requires the cultivation of love.

  We need to have a relationship with God who is the source of love. Through the prayers and contemplation we are able to renew the source of our love, spontaneity leads us the right way and the choices we make are the result of purity of heart.

  Religious practices give the basis for all activities The Drachma Foundation.

• Realization of the ideas

  Prayer, reflection and exchanging thoughts goes together with each of Foundation's activities. It is also a practical separate program, which includes:

• regular celebration of a Sunday Eucharist, which gather the Foundation members and which is certainly open to all the people outside our community. During the Eucharist we get the opportunity to experience together the mystery of our union with God and to pray together. A preparation to worship and the meetings after the Eucharist integrate people, build friendship, give a chance to exchange thoughts, observations and ideas related to undertaken activities. They also help to provide a transcendental dimension to Foundation's work.

• weekly worship gatherings in the style of Taize.

  We would like to establish The Prayer Center, our own place where we could spend some time together in prayer and contemplation, the place,where everyone could find the intimacy of a personal relationship with God.
